It’s summer now, and I am really starting to tire a little of the heat. In fact, this has been a beat down on my organic lawn. I am, in fact, preparing to grow some grass seed in the fall. But until then, I am looking to take some time, learn about NW Indiana catering, and then work my way into a new hobby.
But until then, I need to remind you guys that fertilizing the grass is important, but even more important is keeping the lawn irrigated properly during the peak hot months.
This means watering at least twice per week for an inch each time. It usually takes a regular impact sprinkler about 90 minutes to lay down an inch of water. If you can remember to do this, your lawn will continue to respond nicely.
Keep it up! Your lawn will thank you in the fall time when the weather lightens up. Remember, fertilize, irrigate, mow properly, thicken up that lawn!
